An afternoon with Fison

Creating imagery for musician Fison’s next chapter, photographed around Highgate on digital and film.

I photographed this session with indie/folk singer-songwriter Fison at the start of May, just after the release of her debut single, Daughter Of A Good Man (which has genuinely been on repeat in my house ever since).

We started in Highgate Wood before spending the afternoon wandering the streets of Highgate with no real plan other than following nice light and stopping whenever something caught our eye. Brick walls, flowers spilling over gardens, patches of sun, interesting shadows. The sort of shoot where you just keep walking and trust you’ll find things along the way.
